NETHERLANDS – Grafische Bedrijfsfondsen, the umbrella organisation for the graphics industry’s pension funds, says it has appointed Dirk Wieman as director of investments.

Wieman, 43, succeeds Rob Lambregts. Previously he was deputy CIO at Fortis Insurances Netherlands. He will start his new job at June 1.

GBF has also named Lambert Oorthuizen as new head of equity as of July 1. Oorthuizen, 37, has also left Fortis, where he has been responsible for the equity portfolio.

The investment arm of GBF carries out the asset management for (institutional) clients. One of them is the pension fund for the printing industry, or PGB.

GBF’s investment organisation focuses at internal management and asset administration and the selection and monitoring of external assets managers.

The total assets under management of GBF are €10bn. Last year it made returns on investments of 15.9%. It has 290,000 members.
