Aberdeen names Nielsen head of new Danish venture

DENMARK- Aberdeen Property Investors is expanding into the Danish market and has recruited Tonny Nielsen to head the Copenhagen office it is opening next month.

Nielsen joins API from the property company TK-Development and prior to that was responsible for property investments at the Danish pension fund Magistrenes Pensionskassa.

Speaking about launching in Denmark, API’s managing director for the Nordic region Rickard Backlund said: “we see Denmark as an increasingly important market and this will increase our strength, both in Scandinavia and from an international perspective.”
