DENMARK - ABN Amro Mellon has appointed Danske Bank’s Soren Eberhard as business development manager for the Nordic market.
Eberhard, 41, will be based in Copenhagen and be responsible for developing the joint venture’s business in the region. He will also support sales and relationship management.
“This is a new stand-alone appointment and a new role. It is affective immediately. Eberhard will explore opportunities, grow our market share and further develop our strategies,” commented ABN Amro Mellon spokesperson Robert White.
Speaking of his appointment, Eberhard - who has 20 years of experience in the Nordic security services market – said: “It’s a great pleasure to be joining ABN Amro Mellon. I’m looking forward to making a very positive contribution to the business.”
For the past six years he has been head of security services with global responsibilities at the Danish banking giant Danske Bank. This group has recorded a net profit of DKK6.054m for the first half of this year.
ABN Amro Mellon chief executive Nadine Chakar praised Eberhard’s region-wide reputation.
