EUROPE - ABN Amro Asset Management has named Henderson's Deborah Harris to the new role of European head of consultant relationships.

"In her new role, Deborah will be responsible for managing and developing institutional consultant relationships across Europe," the Dutch bank said.

She joins from Henderson Global Investors where she was associate director of global consultants. A Henderson spokesman confirmed her recent departure and said she wouldn’t be directly replaced.

"We are delighted that Deborah has joined ABN Amro Asset Management, bringing valuable skills to the business and complementing the existing team culture of innovative thought and dedication to our clients," said Dermot Keegan, ABN Amro's global head of consultant relationships.

"Her appointment completes the formation of our specialist consultant team solely focused on effectively meeting the needs of the investment consultant community globally."
