The Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) has released a report showing regulations governing hedge fund distribution in France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK. Questions answered include permissible marketing activities, whether it is advantageous to have shares listed on a stock exchange and guidelines distinguishing a public offering from a private placement.
