UK – Aon Consulting has won the mandate to provide actuarial advice, pensions consultancy and administration to the UK defined benefit pension (DB) scheme of Det Norske Veritas (DNV) UK, the UK branch of the Norwegian independent property safeguarding and risk management foundation.

No details about the scheme size are available but it is open to DNV’s 311 strong UK workforce.

Aon, which will provide the services from its Farnborough office, was chosen following a thorough review by the scheme’s trustees of several well known and “reputable” consultancy firms.

Says Guy McClelland, DNV UK’s senior human resources officer: “We felt that Aon showed the expertise to offer the full service package we wanted, as well as demonstrating a proven track record.”
