FRANCE – Specialist asset manager, EIM, is to open offices in Paris and Monaco in response to growing demand in those areas.
EIM has been granted a license as a portfolio management company by the French regulator, Commission des Opérations de Bourse (COB). Alain Zaquin will be chief executive, who will oversee a team which will provide research and portfolio management services for funds of funds comprised of both UCITS vehicles investing in traditional asset classes, and non-UCITS vehicles investing in hedge funds.
Prior to joining EIM, Zaquin ran an investment company.
In the Monaco office, Aleco Keusseoglou will be chief executive officer. He was formerly co-chairman of his family’s shipping business.
EIM is a specialist asset manager for institutional investors and high net worth individuals in delegated investment management, and is well known for its involvement in the hedge funds of funds industry. The group manages 2.9 billion dollars in assets under management and has offices in Nyon, Geneva, Zurich, New York, London, Gibraltar and Tokyo.
