UK – Aon Consulting has been re-appointed as actuarial and benefits consultant to the £290m (€473m) pension fund of the Audit Commission.
The mandate comprises two separate contract appointments made by the Audit Commission and the trustees of its pension fund, which has over 2,000 members.
It was re-awarded following a beauty parade of consultancy firms in front of both the employers and trustee representatives.
Paul Hunter, the Audit Commission’s pensions manager says that deciding factor behind the award is essentially the level of credibility that Aon has built up with the Commission, as well as its expertise in both the public and private pensions sectors.
