UK – Bank of Ireland Asset Management UK has expanded its client services team with the appointment of Alice O’ Dowd.
O’Dowd joins the London-based team of four as institutional client service manager, and will report to David Boal, managing director of BIAM (UK).
Prior to her new appointment, O’Dowd worked in the business development team at Barclays Global Investors. She also worked in a similar role for State Street Global Advisors.
The expansion of the team is a result of growing UK business. Says Boal: “The expansion underlines our growing success in winning new business from UK clients, with more than 650 million pounds of new mandates won in 2003 to date.”
BIAM manages almost 35.4 billion pounds on behalf of investors globally. 2.8 billion pounds of this is managed by BIAM (UK) in global securities on behalf of UK personal and institutional investors.
