BELGIUM – Sabine Riga, formerly portfolio manager for institutional clients with Banque Nagelmackers, has joined ING Investment Management as head of marketing and sales institutional clients, Belgium.
She told IPE that in her new role she will be promoting ING to institutional investors in Belgium. She also said she would not be involved with asset management.
Riga, who works with a team of two, replaces Ann van Helman, who has moved to ING’s private banking arm.
Banque Nagelmackers told IPE that Riga’s successor would join within the next two weeks from the UK, but declined to identify him.
Separately, Leon Niessen, formerly joint director at the Brussels office of Deloitte & Touche Human Capital has taken up the post as director at Alexander Forbes’ Lane Clark & Peacock Brussels office.
Jeert de Rieder, Niessen’s fellow director at Deloitte & Touche, said Niessen will not be replaced. Niessen was not contactable.
