UK- The UK subsidiary of Germany’s Bayer has appointed Watson Wyatt to provide actuarial, investment and consultancy services to the company and to the trustees of its largest UK pension fund. Watson Wyatt replaces rival consultant Mercers.
Martin Newson, company secretary at Bayer and a trustee, said: "we followed a vigorous process in making this appointment. Watson Wyatt showed real enthusiasm to work with us and demonstrated that they are leaders in areas that will be most important to us going forward."
Bayer is a German company with core businesses in crop sciences, healthcare, polymers and chemicals.
