** Lagarmitte to head BNP’s European sales **
Nadine Lagarmitte has been appointed global head of sales for European investor services at Paris based BNP Paribas Securities Services.
She joins the company from JP Morgan Chase, where she led the continental Europe sales team.
** F&C expands global equity desk **
The recently integrated F&C Management has recruited two investment managers to its global equity desk in London. Henrik Gjerning, joining from Tilney Fund Managers, has been appointed as director covering global financial companies and managing global equity products for the manager.
Niall Kirk joins as an assistant director covering the global healthcare sector and fund products. He was previously a healthcare analyst at Commerzbank.
** Dane joins FIS PE from Barclays Ventures **
Fiona Dane is joining London based Friends Ivory & Sime Private Equity as assistant director of fund management. She was formerly senior manager of new investments and responsible for the aftercare of portfolio companies at Barclays Bank. In her previous position Dane was one of the founders of Barclays Ventures, one of the company’s in-house private equity investment arms.
** W P Stewart promotes chairmen **
Robert Rohn and Harry Segalas have been promoted co-chairmen of W P Stewart & Co, the New York based investment research and portfolio management subsidiary of Hamilton, Bermuda based W P Stewart & Co.
Rohn also works as chief executive officer at the company’s US operations, while Segalas is director of investments.
