UK / EUROPE – Former IBM pensions head Nevill Brooke has been appointed senior executive to the European Pension Fund Investment Forum (EPFIF), whose pension fund members have assets of some €1,000bn between them. The appointment is part of EPFIF’s long-term expansion stategy.

Brooke joins from Mercers and had previously worked as head of pensions and retirement provision at IBM.

Says Trevor Cook of EPFIF, “Nevill will bring to the Forum the expertise and contacts he has built up having worked in pensions for two large organisations and his pensions philosophy fits perfectly with the Forum’s.”

EPFIF is a leading light in providing a platform for investment professionals in Europe to meet for the exchange of information amongst pension fund managers, their advisers asset managers and others.
