SWITZERLAND- Swiss Consultants Buck Heissmann Sarl and Pendia Associates have merged creating a company with roughly fifty employees. The new firm will take Pendia Associates’ name and will be based in both Nyon and Zurich.

Buck Heissmann Sarl is the Swiss arm of the Buck Heissmann family, the joint venture in continental Europe between the US consultants Buck and German consultants Heissmann. Pendia Associates will continue to represent the Buck Heissmaan international organisation in Switzerland.

The new organisation will provide pension and employee benefit services including asset/liability modelling for asset allocation strategies. In addition it will provide outsourcing services for pension administration as well as accounting and IT for in house administration.

“The objective of the merger is to create a new and large consultancy supplying the full product range,” says Mike McShee, senior partner at Buck Heissmann Sarl. Pendia specialises on the administrative, accounting and operational side of the pensions business while Buck Heissmann tends to focus on the advisory and consulting side of the business.

Pendia Associates is managed buy its owner partners who include Marcus Meier, Mike McShee, Jean-Gabriel Petit, Jalila Susini, Elisabeth Müller, Peter Bachman and Ester Sager.
