UK – Rob Treich, head of investment research at Buck Consultants, has left to join Mercer Investment Consulting.
He will be a principal within Mercer’s European manager research team based in London.
Buck was formerly part of Mellon Financial Corp.’s human resources division and was bought by computer services firm ACS earlier this year.
A Buck spokesman said the position – part of a 15-strong team - would be advertised internally and externally.
Elsewhere, Northern Trust’s John Greene has been appointed as UK chief investment officer of Alexander Forbes’ Investment Solutions Group.
At Northern Trust Global Advisors he was head of international research. A spokeswoman said he would be replaced and that his responsibilities would be assumed on an interim basis by Tony Earnshaw.
"John brings with him an enormous amount of experience in the multi-manager field and has an excellent knowledge of UK and global asset managers,” said Investment Solutions’ business development director Justin Taurog.
