EUROPE – Edoardo Bugnone has been named as the new chairman of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA).
Bugnone, managing partner of pan-European private equity firm Argos Soditic, takes over as EVCA chairman for the forthcoming year 2001-2002.
Bugnone began an entrepreneurial career by investing in two businesses before taking a degree n economics at Geneva University. He then joined S.G. Warburg-Soditic where he co-founded the private equity division that became Argos Soditic.
The EVCA has over 800 member firms drawn from 37 European countries.
