UK – Citigroup Asset management has appointed Frank Doyle of Allianz Dresdner Asset Management to head up institutional sale in the UK and Ireland.
Doyle was head of institutional sales at Allianz Dresdner Asset Management, before becoming head of global consultant relations. In the role, Doyle established and led a global consultants committee.
The role at Citigroup has been newly created as part of its continued strategy to grow business within Europe.
Commenting on the appointment, John Nestor, head of Citigroup AM in Europe, the Middle East and Africa said: “Doyle played an integral role in winning several global and UK equity mandates for ADAM in 2003 alone. We expect him to add immediate value as our firm continues to gather momentum in Europe.”
Citigroup Asset Management manages around 462 billion dollars in assets globally.
