REAL ESTATE - The Pension Real Estate Association has named James Clayton as its new Director of Research as of today (September 1).
He takes over from Jack Nowakowski to support the educational goals of the association as well as undertake direct research projects as determined by membership needs and value to the industry.
The Pension Real Estate Association is a non-profit trade organization for the global institutional real estate investment industry. It represents more than 480 member firms worldwide.
"Professor Clayton brings a wealth of real estate knowledge and practical research expertise that will allow PREA to expand its current research capabilities and provide additional products and services to our members," said PREA president Gail Haynes.
Clayton is Associate Professor in the College of Business at the University of Cincinnati, where he teaches courses in real estate finance, investment and development.
He serves on the editorial board of Real Estate Economics and the advisory board of the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI).
