UK - The £600m (e990m) Cornwall County Council Superannuation Fund has split a Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) global balanced mandate into two, following a review in conjunction with consultants Hymans Robertson.
Rothschild Asset Management (RAM) was appointed to run a £61m (e110m) specialist bond portfolio and Capital International was selected for a £134m (e222m) global equities brief.
The specialist bond portfolio will be invested in UK gilts, index-linked gilts, corporate bonds and overseas bonds. Four managers, including MLIM were shortlisted for the mandate.
