BELGIUM- Credit Agricole Asset Management is adding to its Brussels office with the appointment of Sandra Lequime as senior client relationship manager. She joins from State Street Global Advisors in Brussels where she was in charge of sales and client servicing for large Dutch pension funds.

CAAM’s Brussels office covers the Benelux region and Lequime will report to its head, Stephane Detobel. Of the e1.2bn in Benelux assets, 80% comes from the Netherlands and the rest from Belgium and Luxembourg. Much of Lequime’s work will be focused on the Dutch market.

Credit Agricole’s investment management business has expanded across Europe over the last three years. It opened in Brussels in February last year and new operations in Stockholm, Helsinki, Frankfurt and Madrid have appeared since 1999.
