DENMARK – Socially responsible investing consultant Ethical Investment Research Services has signed agreements with two Danish pension funds, Pensionskassernes Administration and Magistrenes Pensionskasse.
Eiris said that both PKA, and Magistrenes, have signed up to its Ethical Portfolio Manager service. Financial terms were not disclosed.
PKA, the largest administration company for occupational pension funds, will use the service to check company reports. ”PKA expects the initiative to add value to the investment strategy, complementing the line of other tools used in the analysis of the portfolio,” said PKA chief executive Peter Damgaard Jensen.
Magistrenes, which covers those with masters degrees or Ph.Ds, would use it to look at corporate governance, the environment, human rights and employee issues.
Eiris says it has more than 80 institutional and other clients in Europe.
