UK – Alan Dawson has been appointed vice president of State Street’s client services for its Investment Management Solutions business in Edinburgh.

Dawson will oversee the delivery of the company’s outsourced investment operations services, delivered through its partnership with Scottish Widows, as well as the development of its investment management business in Scotland.

“Alan clearly understands the financial information technology industry and his extensive experience and proven track record of success will enhance State Street’s position as a key player in the Scottish marketplace,” says Campbell.

Dawson joins from Murray Johnstone where he was responsible for the management of the company’s information technology, back-office, treasury and facilities functions as a director of business information services.
