GLOBAL - Susan Small has been appointed as new global head of consultant relations at Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM), the global investment bank announced today.
Joining from Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management where she was director of marketing and head of consultant relations, she will be based in Chicago.
It is a new role, "reflecting DeAM's commitment to developing the business globally," a spokeswoman for the firm said.
DeAM wants to enhance its services to institutions and consultants "across the spectrum of traditional and alternative asset classes", the firm said.
In the role, Small "will ensure that DeAM provides superior service to consultants worldwide, helping them to leverage our global investment platform from the benefit of their clients," said Roelfien Kuijpers, global head of DeAM's institutional business, to whom Small will report.
The firm globally has around $662bn in assets under management.
