EUROPE – Deutsche Bank’s real estate arm has named Peter Hobbs as head of European real estate research.
DB Real Estate, the world's largest real estate investment manager, said Hobbs would be based in London and report to Bill Hughes, chief executive of Deutsche Property Asset Management and Michael Kremer, CEO of DB Real Estate Germany.
He will be responsible for the real estate research for Deutsche Property Asset Management UK, the DB Real Estate Opportunities Group, DB Real Estate Germany and DB Real Estate Italy.
“In the UK, Hobbs will be working closely with Nigel Bennett, Head of Strategy for Deutsche Property Asset Management,” Deutsche said.
Hobbs is currently director of business management and head of European research at Boston-based Property and Portfolio Research.
Hughes said: "Maintaining a high quality European research platform will continue to be critical to the forward momentum of DB Real Estate's European businesses.
“I am delighted that Peter Hobbs, someone with great experience in all aspects of real estate research, has agreed to join us to lead this initiative".
