NETHERLANDS - APG, the €300bn Dutch pension asset manager, has announced its intention to appoint Petri Hofsté as chief financial and risk officer (CFRO).

Hofsté will join APG from 1 February 2013, succeeding Peter Kok, who has held the position on a temporary basis.

As CFRO, within the executive board, Hofsté will be responsible for financial policy and risk management on the APG Group level.

Hofsté is presently employed by the Dutch Central Bank (DNB) as director of the banking supervision division.

Before joining the DNB, she worked for ABN Amro bank for five years, where her final position was deputy CFO, and subsequently CFO at the bank's legal successor RBS once the bank was split.

Previously, she was a partner at KPMG, working in the area of financial services auditing and international financial reporting (IFRS).

In other news, as per 1 September, Gert Zwaan has joined Delta Lloyd Asset Management in the role of head institutional sales and account management.

He will focus both on expanding the institutional client base and maintaining existing customer relations.

Until recently, Zwaan was employed by Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch (Netherlands), where he shared responsibility for rolling out the fiduciary management proposition.

Previously he held commercial and management positions at, among others, Barclays de Zoete Wedd, Bank Labouchere en Aegon Asset Management.

Justus van Halewijn joined Achmea in June as head of investment management.

From May 2003 to May 2012, he served as head of investment strategy research at Blue Sky Group.

Previously, he worked for eight years at ING Bank, where he started at the risk management department and subsequently served as a senior quantitative equity strategist as of 1999.

Internos Real Investors LLP (Internos), a €2.1bn owner-managed real estate fund management business, has appointed Hugo van der Goes as managing director of Internos in the Netherlands.

He will be responsible for building and leading the Dutch business, securing new capital and mandates and further strengthening the manager's transactions and asset management capabilities.

Van der Goes previously spent six years with IVG Immobilien (previously Oppenheim Immobilien), where he was appointed director of European portfolios and managing director of the Netherlands and France.

He previously held positions at Nemaco Development, Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank, ING Real Estate and Finance Credit Lyonnais Group.

Also joining the Amsterdam office is Pamela de Lange Storck as senior financial controller, responsible for the EIRE and Alecta portfolios. 

She previously worked for DTZ in Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Budapest, and most recently as a consultant in Chicago and Malaysia.
