UK – Scott Donald has stepped down as director of marketing for Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Russell Investment Group amid restructuring.
He said: “I have decided to ‘spend more time with the family’ as the saying goes, though in my case, that is precisely what I intend to do.”
Donald, has worked for Russell for 11 years and spent the last five years at its London office.
Sarah Culpepper, a member of Donald’s five-strong team, told IPE he was taking some time off before going back to Australia, but at the moment has no definite plans for the future.
Donald is not to be replaced because his marketing team has been merged with the client communication services department to form a marketing communication team headed by Rob Barr.
Culpepper said that if Donald had stayed he would have kept his post within the new team, although his role would have changed.
Barr, who before the restructuring was director of client communication services, heads the new department with the title of managing director marketing communication.
