GLOBAL – Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, the investment banking arm of German insurer Allianz, has launched a new index research product.
DrKW said IndexWeb is an online tool which is a “one-stop shop catering to investment manager demand for comprehensive index related analysis and information”.
IndexWeb, which is already live, covers major indices such as FTSE, MSCI, STOXX, S&P and Nikkei. It contains daily analysis including selection and ranking lists as well as performance and volume charts.
The product is part of DrKW's research platform and an extension of its global portfolio trading offering. It is available on www.gpt24.com.
"Given the rise of benchmark-oriented investing, it has become increasingly important for investors to monitor the wide range of index-related events,” said Silvio Lotufo, director of portfolio trading research in London.
“Besides passive managers, IndexWeb should be an indispensable resource for even the most active investor who may see these events as fundamental entry or exit points."
