Eight big Dutch pension funds have set up a joint corporate governance research body, following the 'Forty recommendations' report on corporate governance carried out last year. The funds involved include ABP and PGGM and those of Philips, Shell, KNP, KLM and Unilever. The foundation will examine company reports and accounts and bring appropriate issues to the attention of investors.
