UK – The £1.3bn (€2.1bn) East Riding of Yorkshire Pension Fund is looking for asset managers to run a £200m active overseas mandate. The pension fund is looking to appoint up to three managers to take care of the portfolio which contains European, Japanese and North American equities. Its current manager is Schroder Investment Management.

It hopes to have the appointments made by the autumn. No consultants are involved in the selection process, as the fund prefers to take the decision inhouse.

The East Riding pension fund is open to workers employed in public services and by the council in the Yorkshire district of East Riding. It has over 30,000 active members and some 15,000 pensioners. Its assets are invested are placed in a variety of asset classes including domestic and overseas equities and fixed income, unit trusts and cash.
