UK- Robin Ellison has left the law firm Eversheds where he was chairman of the pensions group and joined Pinsent Curtis Biddle in a similar role.

Taking up his new post, head of strategic development, pensions, Ellison joins a team about two-thirds the size of Eversheds. “The idea is to grow it a little larger over time,” he says.

Ellison, who was with Eversheds for five years, has established himself as a respected conference speaker and author on pensions-related issues. He left, he says, due to “better opportunities elsewhere.”

He will continue to serve on the board of the National Association of Pension Funds and on the pensions board at the Confederation of British Industry.
