NETHERLANDS - Eumedion, the Dutch corporate governance platform, has appointed PGGM's chief investment officer, Else Bos as member of its board.
Bos, 47, will replace Albert Akkerman, chief executive of the railways pensions manager, SPF Beheer. His term ended as of 1 January.
Eumedion is the corporate governance lobby organisation of 53 institutional investors. Together, they represent almost €900bn of assets under management. The assets are invested on behalf of Dutch clients and Dutch listed companies.
Bos has been working at healthcare scheme PGGM since 2002. She became CIO and member of the executive team of the €77bn pension fund in 2005.
Earlier, Bos has been both chief operating and chief financial officer at merchant bank NBIC Asset Management and chief operating officer at ABN AMRO Asset Management.
