Britain's Lloyds Bank Securities Services (LBSS) has been clocking up increasing business from European clients. It has recently been appointed UK custodian for £200m ($330m) worth of custody by Sweden's Svenska Handelsbanken, in competition with Morgan Stanley, Midland and Royal Bank of Scotland. Denmark's Den Danske Bank has appointed it to act as custodian for its £200m UK portfolio.
