IPE QUEST - A European pension fund is looking to invest $150m (€112m) in global emerging market equity, using IPE Quest.
The mainland European industry-wide pension fund, tendering QN1154, will consider placing the assets in either a pooled fund or in a separate mandate. The manager must minimise tracking error and keep it below 2%.
Additionally, the mandate will be benchmarked to the MSCI Emerging Markets index and the manager should employ a core investment style, with large cap equities being managed passively.
The scheme asks that only companies with more than $2bn in emerging market equities apply, while the company itself should manage at least $5bn and have traded for at least three years.
Interested parties should submit their performance record as of the end of 2010, net of fees by 21 January.
