NETHERLANDS- Henk Breukink has been named as head of F&C Management’s operations in the Netherlands as of next month. Breukink has been interim head of the Dutch operation since last November and he takes over the job from chairman of the board Alain Grisay.
Prior to this, he was with Boer & Croon for six years and before that he worked at Shell in various management roles.
F&C has also appointed Patrick Hendrikx to head of credit portfolios. Hendrikx joined the group at the beginning of the year from ING Investment Management where he spent eight years in various jobs in the credit department.
Both become directors at the beginning of July and will work alongside Grisay.
F&C Management is the product of the integration of foreign & Colonial and Eureko’s Achmea Global Investors.
At the end of last year the Dutch operation suffered a blow when the Metal industry fund run by Roland van den Brink pulled e2bn in assets from F&C following a portfolio review.
Last year F&C lost its chief investment officer Jan Straatman to ABP as well as its head of equities Erna Boogard.
F&C manages over e107bn.
