UK - F&C Asset Management has named John Bills as head of institutional sales in London.
It said Hills, 42, was previously head of fund origination at Via Capital. He will report to institutional business head Patrick Johns.
"I am delighted that John is joining F&C at this important phase in our development,” Johns said.
“His experience on the sell-side will provide valuable insights as we seek to grow the business. In addition to our investment consultant programme, John will also focus on direct sales.”
Earlier this week F&C named David Logan as its new chief financial officer.
Logan is a former global partner with Arthur Andersen and is currently a partner in Deloitte’s insurance and investment management division.
The 36-year-old is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and brings over 10 years experience in the asset management sector.
"We have exciting plans and David has the sector understanding, as well as the operational, corporate and international finance experience to help us grow profitably,” said chief executive Alain Grisay.
