FRANCE – Fidelity Investments has appointed Christophe Gloser as director of its institutional fund management business in France as part of its expansion plans across Europe.
Gloser, who will be based in Paris, joins from Dresdner Asset Management, where he was head of institutional and corporate sales for seven years.
He will report jointly to James Stewart, managing director of Fidelity’s institutional business for Europe and Philippe Nahim, president of Fidelity’s Paris operations.
Says Anne Read, head of corporate communications for institutional business at Fidelity: ”France is a market that is about to grow. The high profile appointment of Gloser is in line with other recent appointments in the Netherlands and Germany and our strategy to be ready for the expansion of the industry across Europe.”
