UK – Fidelity Investments has appointed former Mercer consultant Kathryn Matthews as executive director of structured investments.
Matthews previously worked at Mercer Investment Consulting where she was a senior consultant of Mercer’s manager advisory group for over 18 months. She left the company in July. In total she has worked in the fund management business for 22 years.
In her new role at Fidelity’s London office, Matthews will be executive director of structured investments. She will report to Simon Fraser, chief investment officer of Fidelity International.
Commenting on Matthews’ appointment, Fraser said: “Her role will ensure we continue to succeed in this critical area of asset allocation, fund of funds and packaged products across both our retail and institutional businesses.”
Fidelity International Limited manages 127.5 billion dollars (117.4 billion euros) in assets.
