UK - Fidelity Investments has continued its hiring spree with the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Paul Bucksey as director of business development in its UK defined contribution business.
Bucksey will report to Julian Webb, executive director of UK DC business development. Fidelity said that Bucksey developed the pensions practice for individual and medium sized corporate clients in London and the South East of England for PWC.
“With the increasing flow of companies moving to some form of DC provision, we are seeing many more opportunities in the market place,” Webb said.
“Paul’s appointment will add additional strength to our team and allow us to progress our ambitious plans for growth. His experience will be invaluable as we increase our dialogue with both consultants and clients, when marketing our expanding product range.

The management of the firm’s DC business in Europe comprises: Phil de Cristo, managing director, DC Europe; Colin Williams, executive director, DC business; Julian Webb; Ed Evers, head of DC offshore business development.
The firm has made a number of senior appointments recently: Achim Gloger, Caren Naylor, Julian Webb and Martin Harris.
