EUROPE – KLM Pensioenfondsen’s former head of investment analytics, Patrick Lighaam, has joined Morgan Stanley's European Pensions Group.
The firm said Lighaam would be a vice president and cover the Dutch pension fund market, reporting to the unit’s head, Alan Rubenstein.
“Patrick initially will be based in London, but ultimately it is planned that he will relocate to Amsterdam,” Morgan Stanley said. Before joining he was a strategic account director at Barclays Global Investors in Amsterdam.
"We are delighted to welcome Patrick to Morgan Stanley,” Rubenstein said. “His strong knowledge of the Dutch pension fund arena, combined with previous hands-on experience with KLM, will significantly strengthen our ability to assist Dutch clients as they come to terms with the changes taking place in the regulatory framework."
