NETHERLANDS – Dutch consulting firm Fortunis has become dormant with its principal Philip Menco taking the helm at the 750 million-euro De Eendragt scheme.
Menco told IPE that he has effectively taken over from Arnold Troostwijk as head of Stichting Pensioenfonds De Eendragt. Troostwijk will retire at the end of the year, Menco added.
“Fortunis is sleeping at the moment, though a few activities still occur,” Menco said. The firm’s clients included De Eendragt - as well as Metalektro, Brenca and Lucent Technologies.
Menco is not the only Dutch pension executive to leave the consulting industry recently. Last month Amin Mansour, who founded FundPartners, announced he was leaving to join a private bank.
