Northern Trust, State Street, NIBC, Propertize, AXA Investment Managers, Jefferies, Deloitte
Northern Trust – Ian Hamilton has been appointed to drive asset-servicing sales across key sectors, including Africa, Europe and the UK. Based in London, he will manage a team focused on pension funds and sovereign entities. He joins from State Street, where he was responsible for UK sector solutions/asset owners.
NIBC – Reinout van Riel has been appointed chief risk officer and a member of the management board at Dutch investment bank. He has been chief portfolio officer at Propertize, which focuses on loan management, restructuring and recovery and asset management, since 2013. Before then, he held various positions at ABN Amro and Royal Bank of Scotland.
AXA Investment Managers – John King has been appointed to the AXA IM Framlington UK equities desk as an assistant portfolio manager, based in London. King has spent the last six years in UK equity sales, first at N+1 Singer, then at UBS and most recently at Jefferies.
Deloitte – Matthew Foley has been appointed a partner and will join the consultancy’s Irish investment management team. Foley specialises in the provision of assurance and advisory services to clients in the investment management and insurance sectors.
