Swiss Funds & Asset Management Association – The association has appointed Lorenz Arnet has the head of its asset management platform. Arnet will take up his position on 1 November. Arnet is co-founder of a fintech company called Incube, having previously briefly served as managing director at EFG Financial Products (now Leonteq) and Barclays Capital, most latterly as head of its derivatives sales business for Swiss institutional clients.
Stiftung Abendrot – The Swiss pension fund’s executive management board is changing, with Enza Bögli, Nicole Cassan and Stephan Bannwart replacing co-founders Eva Zumbrunn and Hans-Ulrich Stauffer at the CHF1.5bn (€1.3bn) collective foundation, effective 1 January 2017. Istvan Akos is also leaving, having looked after communications at the master trust for some 20 years. Stiftung Abendrot recently became a member of shareholder campaign organisation Actares.
Association Finance Durable et Investissement Responsable (FDIR) – Najib Sassenou, director of SRI research and sustainable development at La Banque Postale Asset Management, has been elected president of the FDIR, the association for sustainable finance and responsible investment created at the initiative of the French Asset Management Association (AFG) in 2007. Sassenou succeeds Paul de Marcellus, global product specialist for SRI at HSBC Asset Management.
Harvest Global Investments – Ashley Dale has been appointed chief business development officer and chief marketing officer. He joins from Mirae Asset Global Investments, where he was chief marketing officer and head of international business development. He has also held senior positions at CLSA, GLS Capital and SG Securities.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management – Jean-Philippe Desmartin has been appointed head of the responsible investment team, based in Paris. He joins from Oddo Securities, where he has served as head of ESG since 2005.
