GLOBAL - Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, Charlemagne Capita, KPMG, Liqiudnet, Schroders

Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment - Robert Barnes, Fionnuala Carvill and Nick Parkes join the board of directors following the departures of Sir David Brewer, Clare Gore Langton and Chris Scott.
Langton was a long-serving member of the board, joining when the institute was first founded in 1992, while Scott and Sir David have served for six and four years, respectively. Barnes, who holds a PhD from Cambridge, is current managing director of equities at UBS Investment Bank and chief executive of UBS MTF, while Carvill is currently commission secretary at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission and Parkes is a partner at Novitas Partners.

Charlemagne Capital - Mark Krombas will join the company's portfolio advisory team  next month. In the past, Krombas has worked at both Société Générale Asset Management and GLG Partners following its acquisition by Société Générale. During his time at both companies, he has predominantly worked in the Middle East and North African market, as lead manager for several funds investing in the region.

KPMG - Graham Macken will join the consultancy's investment management team as a partner in the performance and technology practice. Macken was previously managing director at Navigant Consulting and has also worked at Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Liquidnet - AEGON Asset Management's head of investment dealing Adrian Fitzpatrick joins as Liquidnet's first non-executive director. Fitzpatrick, who was a co-chair of the NYSE Euronext ITAC Traders Group, has previously worked at Ivory & Sime.

Schroders - Tjeerd Voskamp joins as senior relationship director in the global financial institutions group. Prior to this, Voskamp spent 10 years at Threadneedle Asset Management, working extensively in the Dutch, Belgian and Scandinavian markets. At Schroders, he will report to the head of the global financial institutions group, Robert Noach.
