GLOBAL - ICI Pension Fund, Bankpension, RPMI, MP Pension, APG, Bluefin Corporate Consulting, ING Investment Management, F&C Investments, Schroders, Mirabaud Asset Management
ICI Pension Fund - Eileen Haughey has been appointed chief executive of ICI's full time secretariat - Pensions Secretariat Services - with effect from October, following the retirement of Charles Amos after 24 years with the fund. Haughey, most recently a Deloitte partner, was head of corporate finance at Marks & Spencer's. She has also served as a senior tax manager at Bass and as a tax partner at Arthur Andersen.
Bankpension - Soli Preuthun has been appointed head of investment and deputy director at the Danish labour-market pension fund, starting from 1 January 2012. She is currently investment director at DIP, the Danish academic and civil engineers' pension fund. Preuthun replaces Leif Hasager, who will leave Bankpension after working there for 22 years. Hasager is moving to Sparinvest in Luxembourg, where he will be director of emerging markets.
RPMI - Craig Heron has been appointed investment manager at Railpen, RPMI's investment arm. Heron has more than 15 years' investment experience, was most recently director of multi-manager at Henderson Global Investors. He has also spent time at New Star Asset Management as a fund of funds manager and Edinburgh Fund Managers as head of managed funds research.
MP Pension - Arne Grønborg has been appointed chairman of the supervisory board at the Danish pension fund for MAs, MScs and PhDs. He succeeds Sigrid Jørgensen, who wanted to step down after less than two years due to other commitments. Grønborg has a masters in psychology and has been on the supervisory board since 2006. He works as a consultant, in addition to being a visiting lecturer at the University of Copenhagen. The pension fund also announced that Tina Mose has taken over the role of deputy chair from Henning Sørensen, who has been in the post since January 2010.
APG - Karin Aarssen has switched her job as risk manager at asset-liability management and risk policy at asset manager APG for policy co-worker for the supervision of insurers and pension funds at pensions regulator De Nederlandsche Bank. She started in her new role on 15 September.
Bluefin Corporate Consulting - The UK-based consultancy has appointed Tracey Shephard to its international benefits team. She joins from Mercer, where she has worked for the last 13 years, starting in the health and benefits division as an analyst and working her way up to the international risk team as a health and benefits specialist.
ING Investment Management - Frank Conjaerts has started as senior segment marketing manager for institutional clients at ING Investment Management on 15 September. Conjaerts had been working as brand manager for asset manager Robeco since 2006. Earlier, he served as marketing communication manager at NYSE Euronext.
F&C Investments - Jitzes Noorman has joined F&C's Amsterdam-based fiduciary investment desk. He joins from Mn Services, where he was a senior special investments fund manager. Before then, he spent 10 years at Rabobank International. Separately, Peter Svoboda has been hired as a product specialist in the emerging market debt team, joining from Vienna-based Erste Group.
Schroders - Rob Hall has been appointed head of multi-manager, reporting to Johanna Kyrklund, head of multi-asset investments. He joined from Russell Investments with more than 23 years' industry experience and 20 years in manager selection and research.
Mirabaud Asset Management - Paul Boughton has joined from Neptune Investment Management and Andrew Blair from Skandia Investment Group to strengthen Mirabaud's UK team. Both will take up the role of joint sales and marketing director for the group and are expected to begin in November.
