GLOBAL – PensExpert, Spence Johnson, Scottish Widows Investment Partnership
PensExpert – Swiss consultancy PensExpert has expanded into Germany, opening an office in Bonn. Deutsche PensFlex, a joint venture between PensExpert and Reichmuth & Co, has appointed its PensExpert head Jörg Odermatt and Guido Best, former head of the German bAV market at insurer Zurich, as co-chief executives.
Spence Johnson – Philip Robinson has been appointed director at the UK-based consultancy to help develop the research consulting business. He joins from Investit, where he was a principal and worked for almost 10 years. Meanwhile, Robert Holford has been appointed as a senior consultant.
Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (SWIP) – Dan Daldry has been promoted to co-manager on the SWIP Absolute Return Bond fund, alongside James Carver. Since 2009, Daldry has been responsible for credit research in the financials sector and has worked on the Absolute Return Bond fund since March 2012.
