GLOBAL – Publica, Germany BVK, Carne Group, LaSalle Investment Management, Robeco Investment Management
Publica – Stefan Beiner will take over as head of asset management at the largest Swiss public pension fund, the CHF35bn (€28bn) Publica, from 1 July. He succeeds Susanne Haury von Siebenthal, who announced in March that she would leave the fund. Beiner is currently deputy head of asset management at Publica.
Bayerische Versorgungskammer (BVK) – Daniel Just, long-standing head of asset management at Germany's €55.4bn BVK, has been promoted to chief executive. André Heimrich, formerly Just's deputy, has been named as his replacement and will sit on the scheme's board, as well as head up a reorganised asset management division. Constantin Echter will continue to oversee the fund's €46.3bn fixed income portfolio.
Carne Group – Gerry Grimes and Albert Prendiville have been appointed to provide risk management support to clients operating funds under the AIFM Directive. Grimes was the founder and managing director of Allied Irish Capital Management. He also worked at the central bank of Ireland as head of money markets and head of official external reserves management. Prendiville joins from Commerzbank Europe, where he was head of Treasury in Ireland.
LaSalle Investment Management – Tiziana Galassini has been appointed to the newly created role of COO and head of product development of the Client Capital Group. She joins from Morgan Stanley, where she spent 15 years in the investment banking division, including 10 years as part of the real estate banking and advisory team.
Robeco Investment Management – Kerry James has been appointed head of institutional distribution. Based in Boston, she will be responsible for institutional sales, consultant relations, relationship management and marketing services. She succeeds Healey, who is retiring in June.
