UK/EUROPE - GE Asset Management has poached Schroders director of international and Scandinavian business, John Simpson, in a bid to expand its European institutional operations.
Simpson joins GE in the role of regional director, institutional sales & marketing and is charged with developing the company’s European asset management arm.
Based in London, he will report to Jan Konstanty, president of GE Asset Management.
Prior to joining GE Asset Management, Simpson spent seven years at Schroders, where his role included managing institutional European and global mandates for European clients, as well as developing new business.
