EUROPE – Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s European consultant relations head Paul Richards has been promoted to managing director level at the firm.
The appointment is among eight promotions to managing director at GSAM and 209 in total at parent Goldman.
Richards is head of consultant relations, responsible for GSAM’s investment consultant relationship teams in Europe, Asia, Japan and Australia.
Prior to joining GSAM, Richards was head of UK institutional business at ISIS Investment Management. He is a former head of investment research at Aon Consulting.
Other GSAM promotions include Marc Boheim (private equity), Andrew Bound (currency), Douglas Meyer (active equity), Carolina Minio-Paluello (quantitative resources), Nick Philips (Nordic region). Teresa Wilkinson (client service) and Jennifer Youde (UK bond management).
“We are delighted to recognise the achievements of these talented individuals,” said GSAM’s European co-head Suzanne Donohoe.
The New York-based group said the individuals would become MDs as of November 26.
