Index provider Stoxx said it appointed Deutsche Bank’s Nizam Hamid to its advisory committee. He will replace Theresia Tolxdorff of Credit Suisse First Boston who has recently resigned. Hamid is director of derivatives and portfolio research at Deutsche Bank in London.
The Australian ASX indices, including the benchmark All Ordinaries, will now be maintained by Standard & Poor’s, the US index provider and the Australian Stock Exchange said. The transfer took place at the beginning of April.
