UK – HBOS’s asset management arm, Insight Investment, has announced the new heads of desk for its teams following the acquisition of Rothschild Asset Management in December.
Among those reporting to Abdallah Nauphal, managing director of Insight’s fixed income business are the following:
Head of European Fixed Income:
Adrian Grey, currently head of European fixed income, RAM
Head of UK Fixed Income:
Michael Amey, currently head of UK fixed income, RAM
Head of Global Fixed Income:
Peter Geikie-Cobb, currently director, fixed income, Insight
In its equity team, 11 heads of team have been appointed, among whom are the following:
UK Core Funds
John Bearman, currently director, UK equities, Insight
European Equities
Richard Wiseman, currently head of European equities, Insight
US Equities
Crispin Cripwell, currently head of US equities, RAM
Global Equity Funds
David Marchant, currently head of global funds, Insight
Insight has also set out a list of targets to be completed in the next five years. These are: to be a top five provider of fixed income products; to be a top five provider of UK, European and pan-European equities; and to be a top three UK property investment manager.
As a result of the acquisition, Insight now has 68 billion pounds in assets under management, with institutional funds of over 35 billion pounds. Insight’s asset split will be around 40 billion in fixed income and cash, and 28 billion pounds in equities and property.
